This week in class, we have embarked on a wonderful journey of creativity and discovery. We focused on writing poems inspired by our own 'wonderverse.' Students explored various types of poetry, including acrostic poems and riddles. An acrostic poem allowed us to use the first letters of a word to create lines, making it both fun and imaginative. We also investigated how poems can be enriched by literary devices such as alliteration, similes, personification, and metaphors.

In mathematics, our studies centred on place value, where we gained a comprehensive understanding of hundreds, tens, and ones. We used blocks and number lines to help visualise these concepts, which made learning engaging and accessible.

In science, we delved into the fascinating world of human biology, identifying the main organs within the digestive system. Students showed great curiosity about how our bodies process food, and many asked thoughtful questions.

Furthermore, in computing, we examined the 'rings of communication and responsibility'. This lesson equipped us with essential skills on how to communicate safely and effectively online.

Finally, congratulations to Jack, who was named our star of the week! His enthusiasm and dedication to his studies inspired everyone in class. Keep up the fantastic work, Jack!
