This week has been immensely productive and enriching for all students. We concluded our unit on "The Boy Genius," culminating in the creation of a comic strip that depicts the key events and characters from the narrative. This exercise not only allowed students to demonstrate their understanding of the text but also encouraged creativity and artistic expression. The vivid illustrations and succinct dialogue created by each student showcased their interpretation of the storyline.

In addition, we explored the fascinating details of Stone Age life through non-chronological reports. Students concentrated on various aspects such as food, clothing, settlements, games, and the materials used during that era. This task facilitated in-depth research and critical thinking, promoting a broader appreciation for historical lifestyles and practices.

Moreover, our mathematics focus this week centred on addition, particularly operations involving up to one exchange. Students engaged with practical exercises, reinforcing their computational skills in a supportive environment.

A highlight of the week was our visit centred around Green Careers, where students were given the opportunity to design and build their own wind turbines. This hands-on experience not only provided insight into renewable energy sources but also fostered teamwork and problem-solving abilities.

Finally, we embarked on planning expeditions around the school grounds, integrating elements of geography and environmental awareness. This initiative has encouraged students to actively engage with their surroundings, ensuring that learning extends beyond the classroom.

The Whole Class were our Stars of The Week for their amazing efforts building their Endurance.
