Our Science this half term is ‘Plants’.  This week we have been discovering that plants are living things.  Some of us planted a bean.  Mrs Cotton has made us a fabulous garden centre in our role play area.  We have loved pretending to sell flowers to each other.  With Miss Murray we are learning about Building relationships – My family and friends.  They have been finding out about different festivals.

Our big RE question this half term is ‘Which stories are special and why?’.  This week we brought in our favourite stories from home to share with each other and talk about why we like them.

Next week we will continue with our story ‘Sam Plants a Sunflower’ by Kate Petty.
