Autumn 1 Week 4

Our week began with Celebration Assembly - congratulations to Lewis who earned Star of the Week this week for a super diary entry during our Big Write session.

We continued with Holes, this time exploring the book from the perspective of X-Ray, one of the other characters from the book.

Within Maths the children continued to develop their understanding of place value and year 6 also moved on to examining the four main operations within maths.

The class had a special visit from The House of Lords (virtually) where they posed questions to a former minister.

During history the class discovered crime and punishment during the mediaeval and Tudor times, discussing the different forms of punishment.

We had some very high Big Maths scores this week and a lot of the class beating their score from last week.
