This week in Seal Class, we kicked things off by celebrating World Ocean Day during our Science lesson on Monday. The children wrote thoughtful pieces about the importance of the oceans and why it’s vital that we take care of them. To accompany their writing, they enjoyed colouring in the World Ocean Day logo – a creative way to show their support for protecting our planet's waters.

In Maths, we began a new topic: Money. The children have been learning how to recognise coins and notes, calculate amounts, and give change – all useful life skills!

During our Computing lessons, we continued our work on Desktop Publishing, focusing on the importance of choosing appropriate fonts for different types of documents. The children are really enjoying exploring their creativity while developing practical digital skills.

Finally, our Year 4s have been working very hard this week on their Multiplication Tables Check (MTC). We’re proud of all their effort and focus – well done!

Have a lovely weekend!
